1x Daler Rowney Georgian Oil Colour Introduction Set 10 x 22ml

Daler Rowney Georgian Oil Colour Starter Set 10x22ml tubes, featuring brilliant colours made from organic pigments that have been carefully selected to be permanent and provide the highest standards of durability and reliability. These rich, lightfast, low-odour colours can be used directly from the tube or thinned to create a fine glaze. In order to achieve the accuracy of colour and strength of tint, a precise formulation is used, combining oil content and high-quality pigment. The pigment is then ground as finely as possible to achieve complete dispersion. This releases the full intensity of the colour and creates a firm, smooth texture.

The high-load pigments have been traditionally crafted and made in England using triple roll milling. They are exceptionally permanent (3*) and have a smooth and buttery consistency for better application. Due to their careful formulation, Georgian Oil Colours generally require very limited quantities of mediums so can be used freely straight from the tube allowing the artist to concentrate on spontaneous creativity. All colours can be mixed and will be consistent in colour from wet to dry, being surface dry in 4 to 5 days depending on the colour.

1x Zest-It Oil Paint Dilutant and Brush Cleaner: 250ml

The Zest-It Oil Paint Dilutant and Brush Cleaner is designed to be used with Oil Paint, Oil Pastels and Oil Bars. It can be used as an alternative to White Spirit or Turpentine. The special ingredient in Zest-It products is the zest from citrus fruits. This makes it pleasant to work with and is ideal for cleaning your brushes or thinning your paint.

1x Daler Rowney Purified Linseed Oil: 300ml

Daler Rowney Purified Linseed Oil reduces the consistency of oil colour and slows down drying time. In its raw state, it gives colour a high gloss. Diluted 50/50 with turpentine or low-odour thinners, it creates an excellent medium for most types of painting.

1x Daler Rowney Alkyd Flow Medium for Oil Colour 75ml

The Daler Rowney Alkyd Flow Medium increases the transparency and flow of oil colour, allowing paint to be brushed out more smoothly. Reduces drying time.

2x Winsor & Newton Winsor Canvas Board: 12 x 10in

The Winsor and Newton Canvas Boards are made up by canvas being laminated onto high quality boards. The canvas has been triple coated with one coat of acid-free size and two coats of highly pigmented primer. The Winsor Canvas Board is suitable for oil painting, acrylic painting, water-based oil painting and alkyd painting.

New Texture! Georgian oil painting paper has been reviewed and updated to enable it to become one of the best oil painting papers on the market. Georgian paper traditionally has a regular embossed texture but the newly developed paper features a surface designed to look more like linen and preferred by oil artists. Additionally, the new and improved paper is stiffer and bulkier, providing a superior support for oil painting.

The Georgian Oil Painting Pads contain 12 sheets of fine grain 230gsm paper. This surface is ideal for Oil Painting and for Oil Pastels too and can even be used to paint with acrylics.
