About the artist

Hello, I’m Hazel Potier. I live in Risinghurst, Oxford, very near CSLEWIS nature reserve and Shotover. I spend a lot of time in both these places which inspire much of my artwork. Description of artwork

This picture is inspired by the pond at CSLEWIS nature reserve. It changes it’s appearance often depending on the season, temperature and light conditions etc. For a short period every year the algae builds up and collects at the surface.

Materials used

Acrylic paints, collage and oil pastels on board.
