Summer’s here (even if the British weather disagrees at times). Now’s the time of year to pack your bags and head off on holiday to somewhere exotic.
It’s understandable that for many of us, a trip anywhere is out of the question at the moment.
So, you may well find yourself thinking back to past holidays to exotic locations or remembering with fondness a day trip you’ve had with your loved ones.
Our new competition is about capturing your favourite summer holiday memory and presenting your artwork in your chosen medium (see the categories below).
To give you some ideas, this might be a picture you’ve painted when you were on holiday or you may choose to enter an old holiday sketch from your portfolio. You may even want to enter a new piece of work based on a recollection of a holiday from the past.
The entries will go to a public vote to shortlist the top 10 favourites in each category. A panel of judges from the local creative community will then choose the overall winners.
