The Winsor and Newton Artists Watercolour paint is available in a range of 96 different colours. Henry Newton and William Winsor?introduced the first moist watercolour to the world in 1832 and since then the?Artists?Water Colour range has been?developed to achieve the highest possible permance?within a wide range of well balanced pigments.
Single pigments are used whenever possible thus creating a cleaner and purer colour. The binding medium used is the highest quality Gum Arabic called Gum Kordofan from acacia trees in Africa.
The tubes of watercolour are ideal for doing stronger washes of colour and for covering large areas. It is the most popular format for water colour painting.
