Large range of single pigment colours: Winsor & Newton use only the finest pigments to ensure you are guaranteed brilliance, permanence, and strength of colour in your work. Single pigments are used whenever possible thus creating a cleaner and purer colour. The binding medium used is the highest quality Gum Arabic called Gum Kordofan from acacia trees in Africa. With 79 single pigment colours, Winsor & Newton offer the widest range of modern and traditional pigments.
Unrivalled transparency: They are formulated and produced using the highest quality methods, achieving perfect pigment dispersion. This means every watercolour wash will remain luminescent and vibrant.
Lightfast and permanent: 96% of the colours in the Professional Watercolour range are 'permanent for artists' use' meaning the colours used today will appear the same for generations to come.
The 14ml tubes of watercolour are ideal for doing stronger washes of colour and for covering large areas. It is the most popular format for water colour painting.
