Spectrum Thixotropic Alkyd Primer

A multi-purpose primer for all types of oil painting that allows paint to adhere consistently and offer an opaque gesso-like surface suitable for all types of surfaces.

Thixotropic means a fluid which is viscous but becomes freer-flowing when it is shaken or brushed on. This quality is useful to artists as it offers controllable application and reliable drying.
Oil primers are only suitable for use with oil paints.
