Raphael Textura Filbert Acrylic Brush

 Textura brushes are one of two options we stock, for oil and acrylic painters. Noted for their firmness of synthetic bristle, they are ideal for use with heavy media where more sculptural applications of paint is required. These brushes are highly resistant to wear and are available as rounds, flats and filberts. Designed for those who like to apply thick structural brush strokes they are best employed with oils and heavy bodied acrylic paints. Textura brushes are an excellent alternative to traditional hog brushes and are easier to maintain too. Although intended for bold mark making the fine brushes in the range are also very good for applying detail and delicate marks. The synthetic bristles are firm providing a high degree of control but also have a good spring that snaps back to a clean edge or point for lighter mark
