Montana TECH Universal Plastic Primer Spray 400ml

Montana Tech Universal Plastic Primer Spray is the best tool for the job when you want to create a prepared plastic surface on which to apply further coatings.

It is the perfect product for sealing and preparing plastic surfaces for the efficient application of further colour coats, assisting in adhesion and maximizing coverage of further coatings. It also seals porous surfaces and protects them from the elements, providing durability once coated. Curing time is 24 hours+ depending on the ambient temperature and moisture levels.

Apply primer in several thin layers spraying before the previous coat is fully dry, but with 1 or 2 minutes between each pass. Further coats might require a drying time of 24 hours or more depending on substrate. Always test spray on a non-visible area to check compatibility of lacquer or paint. For optimal lifespan, store cans always with the nozzle on.

It is not recommended for use with soft plastics but can be used on hard plastics such as: PS (polystyrene), PUR (polyurethane), polypropylene rubber, EPDM (modified), PA (polyamide), ABS (acrylic butadiene styrene plastics), Hard-PVC (hard polyvinyl chloride, GfK (glass-fibre reinforced plastics). Because of the varied chemical make-up of these plastics we advise you to test for compatibility by trialing use on a non-visible area of your working material.

Montana Tech Platsic Primer is transparent-white in colour and finishes as a semi gloss base, ready for the application of Montana Gold, Black or White color range.
