Montana TECH Styrofoam Primer Spray 400ml
The Montana Polystyrene Primer Spray is the best tool for the job when you want to create a prepared surface of polystyrene or styrofoam – ready to apply colour coats of paint onto.
It is the perfect product for sealing and preparing plastic surfaces for the efficient application of further colour coats, assisting in adhesion and maximising coverage of additional coatings. It also seals porous surfaces and resists against agitation of further solvent based coatings when all surface holes are covered, providing durability once coated. Leave your work aside for at least 24 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and moisture levels in your environment.
Because of the varied chemical make-up of these soft plastics, we advise you to test for compatibility by trialing use on a non-visible area of your working material.
Montana Polystyrene Primer is a beige/brown colored, matte coating in a Nitro-Combi based composition, achieving a neutral color base ready for the application of Montana Black, White or Gold colours. Once dried it is ready for the application of Montana TECH or EFFECT color range sprays.

Montana sprays enable excellent adhesion and further coating of synthetic, nitro-combi or acrylic spray paints. Montana offers different primers for application on different surfaces that need to be pre-treated such as plastic, metal and styrofoam. After the Primers have been applied you can work with Montana spray paint on pre-treated ground. Use primers for efficient and more permanent results. Easy to apply, to sand and re-coat. For indoor and outdoor applications (wearing respirator mask is recommended). Cans which are not empty should be disposed of as “special refuse”.
