Liquid Leaf is a metallic solvent-based paint used for gilding. It contains its own red primer and a film of lustrous gold which is pre-mixed into a single liquid. We have it available in 5 colours: Classic, Florentine, Renaissance, White Fire and Silver.
Liquid Leaf works exceptionally well on carved and ornamental furniture, frames, mouldings, decorative ceilings, lamps and figurines to give them a traditional Gold Leaf finish.
It is easy to apply with a brush and flows well without leaving brush marks. Liquid Leaf can also be used with a ruling pen for fine lines and scrolls.
When the Liquid Leaf is dry it is possible to buff the surface with a soft cloth or toned down with a used shoe polish brush.
Shake the bottle before use to make sure that the liquid is fully mixed together.
