Golden Acrylic Additives 473ml: Retarder

GOLDEN Retarder is a special additive used to increase the open time (slow down the drying time) of acrylic paints. This is very useful for painting techniques such as 'alla prima' or wet-in-wet (see Bob Ross), and is able to reduce the possibility of the paint skinning on your palette.

Apply and mix the Golden retarder liquid to the paints directly on your palette. Golden Retarder contains binding agents. To ensure adhesion, it is recommended that the addition of retarder does not exceed 15% or 1:6, when mixed with acrylic colours or mediums.
