Introducing Blackwing
Blackwing are a team of writers, artists, musicians, designers, and DIYers who think the world is a little bit better when you slow down and become more mindful. That interaction may come from scribbling in a sketchbook, flipping through the dusty pages of a familiar book, or listening to the warm tone of your favorite record.

The Core Line Up
Claimed by many to be the best writing utensil in the world, Blackwing pencils are famous for the quality of graphite, iconic shape, replaceable eraser, and the men and women whose works they’ve inspired throughout the years.
The Blackwing 602 is the classic Blackwing Pencil. Half the pressure twice the speed. Firm lead, ideal for writing (similar to a B pencil).
The Blackwing Matt is the softest of the Blackwing Pencils. It is ideal for artists, musicians, and woodworkers. Soft, Dark Line (similar to a 4B pencil).
The Blackwing Pearl is a bit harder than the regular Blackwing, but still soft and dark: a perfect all-round pencil.
The Blackwing Natural features an exposed Incense-cedar barrel with a subtle clear matte finish and the popular extra-firm graphite.

Blackwing Volume 746 The Golden Gate
In the summer of 1929, the newly-formed Golden Gate Bridge and Highway District hired Joseph B. Strauss to complete a task that many said was impossible: build a bridge across the churning waters of the Golden Gate Strait. He and his team of engineers, designers, and planners used pencil and paper to develop the sketches, design drafts, and finished plans that would become the Golden Gate Bridge.
The Blackwing 746 is a tribute to the Golden Gate Bridge and other engineering wonders of the modern world. Each pencil features a firm graphite core and is finished with a special multi-layered technique to bring out the iconic International Orange colour of San Francisco’s world-famous marvel.
Blackwing Volumes 71 Frank LLoyd Wright
Few of the structures built by Frank Lloyd Wright during his historic career exemplify his never-ending pursuit of beauty better than his Usonian homes. Wright created the Usonian design philosophy to show that a practical and affordable home can still be a beautiful home. He brought best-in-class architecture to the middle-class when he built his first Usonian home at the age of 71.

The Blackwing take on the classic report pad is perfect for any type of project or note-taking, sketching, and writing on the move. Each Blackwing Reporter Pad measures 3" x 6.25" x 0.5" (about the size of a smartphone), so it fits easily in your pocket or bag and will always be ready to go.
Each Reporter Pad features a black card-stock cover that wraps over the wire binding and is secured with a durable elastic band, giving the pad a clean look while protecting its contents. Blackwing Two Step Long Point Sharpner / Blackwing Soft Handheld Eraser
The Two-Step Long Point Sharpener creates a long point using a two-step sharpening process, first sharpening the wood and then precision sharpening the graphite core. It features a matte rubberized finish for added grip, and the same German steel blades you’ve come to expect.
The eraser is made of a special soft material that erases the dark lines of our graphite cleanly and easily. The holder is made of durable aluminum that lets you get a solid grip while erasing. It also includes a jumbo-sized version of the iconic Blackwing clip, so you can extend the eraser as you use it.
