If it’s going to be a while until you use your technical pen again, make sure you empty it of ink and give all the parts a clean. The ink might start to congeal and this will make the technical pen more difficult to use when you next go to draw with it.

Store the pens horizontally when not in use. It is best practice to replace technical pen inks after 2 years.
